From 25 to 27 February 2017, the optical industry – and the eyewear industry in particular – will once again meet at the Mido Eyewear Show in Milan. Over three days, machine and technology manufacturers as well as users will exchange ideas on the latest solutions, trends and possibilities for manufacturing eyeglass lenses and glasses.
As already seen at Vision Expo West in Las Vegas in autumn 2016, we will again present the Lab 4.0 MES solution live under real production conditions together with Satisloh AG. This time the highlight and world premiere is the Intelligent Smart Conveyor (ICS) MES version: with it, the MES takes over the intelligent real-time control of a linked production line.
Another world premiere is the Decision Points (intelligent switches) with MES web service communication and the intuitive, logical design of the conveyor system within the MES. In contrast to rigid PLC-based conveyor systems, this allows individual logics and a holistic optimisation of logistical target parameters with maximum adaptability.
