SOFTWARE MADE IN GERMANY is an initiative of the German Federal Association for SMEs in the IT sector (BITMi e.V.). BITMi e.V. represents the IT SME sector in Germany and is the industry association that exclusively represents the interests of small and medium-sized enterprises. software4production GmbH has been a member of BITMi for over ten years.
The "Software Made in Germany" award is given to software manufacturers that meet the following criteria:
- 100% Service: Whenever users have questions about the product, they will always find a German-speaking contact. Sales, service, and training partners are available locally, and hotline numbers are answered in German.
- 100% Quality: Software designed in Germany is also tested in Germany. Equally important for end users: program interfaces and manuals are multilingual or in German.
- 100% Future: The software is investment-secure. The compatibility of programs and data is also ensured in the future. Furthermore, the continued development of the software is contractually guaranteed.
software4production GmbH meets these criteria and was once again awarded "Software Made in Germany" status in 2024.
