In our view, a resilient factory is a production system that can adapt to change and cope with disruptions rapidly without losing its functionality. This requires both the ability to keep production running and the ability to restore operations quickly after a failure. A resilient factory therefore relies on technologies such as Industry 4.0, AI, IoT and MES — technologies that software4production has been researching, developing and bringing to market for more than 15 years. In 2023 we were honoured with the Factory Innovation Award in the category resilient factory.
